Nékter Juice Bar has officially announced an expansion of its partnership with Pitaya Foods to merge the nutritional powers of pitaya (also known as dragon fruit) and passion fruit into three brand new, limited-time offerings. Set to become available from May 30 to July 31, 2024, at Nékter Juice Bar’s 210 locations nationwide, these new offerings happen to be Pitaya Passion Smoothie, Pitaya Passion Bowl, and Pitaya Frozen Lemonade. Markedly enough, each of these drinks is presented to the customer in brilliant colors of the tropics. Beyond their appearance, the stated drinks also deliver at your disposal a substantial content of essential nutrients that will help nourish the body during long summer days and nights. The latter bit, in case you weren’t aware, is made possible by pitaya and passion fruit’s profile. You see, pitaya is actually one nutrient-dense, low-calorie powerhouse which is rich in antioxidants, Vitamin C, Vitamin A, magnesium, and fiber, as well as beneficial plant compounds like carotenoids and polyphenols. On the other hand, passion fruit also conceives for you substantial health benefits, benefits that can go a long way especially when the agenda is to support a healthy lifestyle through a steady supply of Vitamins C and A, antioxidants, and immune-boosting properties.

Talk about the new offerings on a slightly deeper level, we begin from the Pitaya Passion Smoothie, which is essentially a blissful blend of Nékter’s homemade cashew milk, Pitaya Foods’ pitaya, passion fruit, strawberry, and a hint of agave. Next up, we have Pitaya Passion Bowl. This one is meant to give you flavor and nutrition by combining pineapple, Pitaya Foods’ pitaya, passion fruit, Nékter’s homemade cashew milk, and agave, all of it topped with hemp seed granola. The third and final drink coming into play would be the Pitaya Frozen Lemonade which is a delicious and refreshing blend of Pitaya Foods’ pitaya, lemon and agave.
We touched on the already-existing relationship between Nekter and Pitaya Foods; it helps the former responsibly source organic pitaya directly from Nicaragua. This is because Pitaya Foods is a pioneer in sustainable farming throughout Nicaragua, a place where it works closely with local farmers and communities to grow premium-quality, organic and non-GMO superfruits.
