This included three distinct certifications in First 1,000 Day Promise Certification, Pesticide Free Award, and Purity Award, all of them coming together to make Kabrita the first and only goat milk-based infant formula to achieve the stated honors. Launched in the US during the early part of 2024, the Kabrita Goat milk is sourced from goats on over 100 family owned farms throughout Netherlands. Once procured, it undergoes a highly rigorous process which involves over ninety quality checks. These extensive checks only add to those years of clinical testing to prove that Kabrita’s infant formula is safe and capable of providing complete nutrition for a baby’s growth in the first year. Next up, the Purity Award brings forth a mandate to conduct independent testing for heavy metals, pesticides, and plasticizers, while simultaneously benchmarking the test results against other similar products in the same category. Markedly enough, the Purity Award is reserved for products only in the top 1/3 of the category. Finally, there is the Pesticide Free Award, which aims to satisfy consumers’ demand in the context of reducing exposure to commonly used pesticides in foods. Here, too, the products undergo independent testing to verify they meet CLP’s standards.
